hello, I’m Anna

Let me tell you how I became a professional painter.

For years, I dreamed of dedicating myself to painting.

I had studied economics and quickly landed a job at a bank, where I worked for several years.

One morning, a colleague handed me a newspaper, and I noticed an ad for a drawing course.

Instantly, I remembered my childhood self, always with pencils in hand, and decided to sign up.

From that day on, I picked up my pencils and never put them down.

I experimented with various techniques until I fell in love with oil painting which I adore for its endless flexibility.

I continued to paint whenever I could squeeze in time between work and family life, because by then, I had become a mother.

I knew I couldn’t give up.

I wanted painting to become my career.

But that desire created an internal conflict that grew heavier every day.

Then, I became a mother for the second time.

I’ll never forget that Sunday morning when I was chatting with some neighbors.
That’s when I learned that, with a young child, I could leave my job and receive a couple of years of financial support to start my own business!

Have you ever faced a crossroads?

On one side, a stable job that caused me misery; on the other, financial uncertainty and the freedom to create my own identity.

In the end, my family chose to believe in me.

And here I am today!

I spend my days perfecting the details of my paintings, creating artistic prints, and packaging orders for shipment.

Because I paint animals

One day, while sitting in the library listening to stories with my child, I stumbled across a book by Robert Bateman, the extraordinary American painter with a passion for wildlife.

It was a revelation.

From that moment, I immersed myself  in wildlife art.

I discovered that zebras are animals of remarkable elegance and grace.

I lose myself in the gaze of a lioness as she looks toward the horizon.

Like us, mother elephants feel a deep love for their calves.

I read books about animal behavior and am particularly fascinated by studies exploring their emotions.

Understanding the deeper aspects of animals is my way of conveying emotion through my paintings.

Each new piece leads me to reflect on the profound connection we share with the animal world.
