“Rediscovered”
Oil painting on canvas
Mom, where are you?
The herd of elephants stopped to drink from a waterhole after a long walk in the hot savanna sun. The elephants, who once walked in a single column, are now scattered, confused with joy at finally being permitted to drink. The little elephant, who has lost its mother, calls out for her in the middle of the chaos. Lastly, she shows affection by caressing her youngster with her trunk despite her size.
“I’m present.”
